I have another question for the group. I now live in Victorville and when I moved here 4 years ago I noticed San Bernardino was in the clear and I kind of got back into the hobby. Well as you know most of the traffic is now encrypted so not much left to listen to. Here is my problem, the county system 1 still works fine for AMR, Fire, Court house and some others. So yesterday I turned on everything on and heard nothing at all, Not even the CHP. So, thinking it was me, I work in downtown Ontario and brought my 436 and had all active…. Nothing but a CHP repeater link. Did I do something wrong. Did I need to change a setting? I have never heard anything on a P25 system ever. Here is what I am working with:
BCD 536
BCD 436
Dicone mounted 35 ft up and in the clear
LMR 400 with no splitters no adapter’s
The database is current
Firmware is current
