Thanks cpitrie:

I am not sure what a arc 996 is.I have a pretty good idea of what he listens to though.

Here it is:
Fort Erie Fire
Regional Niagara Ambulance
O.P.P. Niagara district
anything else would be a bonus for him

p.s. I do have the cable for the computer hook - up.I am just not sure what to do.

Much Thanks

You can get the software here: -->http://www.butel.nl/

If you're just programming 1 scanner, 1 time only, just get ARC996 from this website. You can use the trial/demo version to program up to 20 "systems" (different banks of "stuff") into the scanner. This is by far the best thing to do.

To Pyberoptics:
I have been trying all afternoon and had no luck.If there is anyone in the Fort Erie area that can help me out,I will bring you the unit and you program it and I will pay you for your time.I am not real familiar with scanners or real technical with computers for that matter lol.

Let me know and I will get in touch with you.

cpitre has sent you a PM, hopefully you'll find the assistance you're looking for. It can be a bit of a challenge to try and wrap your head around something especially if you yourself aren't a scanner user.

I'm in the Brampton area, if you don't get the help you need I'd be willing to assist but I might be further away than you want to come.
