Smiling here. I live so far back in the Ozarks I have to pipe in Sunshine. Shipping is easy as we own a logistics company. I can send a lable with the radio.

Completely understandable. I would be happy to help if you weren't so far away. There has to be someone around you thats a HAM or maybe a computer geek or SOMETHING. The only "specialty" tool needed is a soldering iron. Its literally about a 30 minute job.

I even lined my plastic panels with aluminum tape for extra RF blockage.

I'm just south of Des Moines, IA. A few years ago I would have drove to your place just for the adventure! Actually was sitting thinking of doing just that, then I remembered I don't even like driving to DSM any more. Its a whole 15 minutes away. 😅
