I translated the editor software myself and will upload it later on since no one else seems to be sharing it.

Im also currently looking into translating the firmware. But I’m waiting for Alinco to release to most up-to-date firmware update tool. Other than that, it’s a fun little radio

As promised the translated version of the editor tool.

The original japanese version was decompiled with ILSpy, translated using google and recompiled with VS2022

Hi c0ne is it possible to do translating the firmware. Is it not encrypted and when send to the radio is it also encrypted.
I am not an expert in this. But normaly a firmware for expensive radios are encrypted.
I have not seen any new firmware for this radio sinse "DJ-X100(CPU 2.00-000 éã DSP 1.03)\DJ-X100(CPU 2.00-000 éã DSP 1.03)
And this is back from almost a year now. 2023-05.

I looked at the code and it’s possible. The only problem is that the version in the updater tool is older than the version my receiver was shipped with. Mine came with version 1.02, mcu 3.01, dsp 1.04

Automatic mode detection?

Hello, I'm Thomas (D9L3YEB) and I imported a DJ-X100 from Japan out of curiosity. I get along quite well with the basic functions using Google Lens Translator and a translated manual.

My question to the users of this device:
I don't see any automatic mode detection. DMR, NXDN, D-Star etc. work fine if I set these as modes manually. But I would have expected there to be an automatic analysis and recognition of the correct digital mode.

Does the device not have this feature or is this function somewhere in the Japanese language menu?

DJ-X100 does not have an automatic mode detection function.
Thanks for info. It is standard in the Uniden series and works reasonably well there. Maybe Alinco will add this feature in a future firmware version to the DJ-X100.
