Three questions about the new CMPD talkgroups:

Does anyone know the talkgroup ID numbers for the new Tac groups? I've heard cars shifting to Tac almost as often as to Conference, but I haven't been able to find them when they go to Tac.

Does anyone know the new names for the old Edward and Frank talkgroups?

This is a very tentative list of what I think the new dispatch and Conference talkgroups are. I'm not posting it because I'm sure it's right (it may have a lot of errors). I'm just hoping it will get responses that will help all of us maybe finally get a complete list of the new talkgroups. What corrections does everyone see that need to be made to this?

South Dispatch - 9168 - Most often used in lieu of B2
Alternate South Dispatch - 9136 - Have heard used occasionally

I haven't noticed them going to Tac, I do agree with your renamed conference talkgroups.

It's my understanding the designations "Edward" and "Frank" were for future patrol districts, and would be placed into effect if Adam, Baker, Charlie and / or David districts were subdivided.

So, those designations will not have "new" names until CMPD decides - in the future - where those districts will be located.

That doesn't prevent other non-patrol divisions from using the talkgroups until Patrol needs them.

Don't know if it helps, but I have been hearing some CMPD traffic on 13104, 13136 and 13528. These may be some of the new tac channels, but I can't confirm it. I have heard Metro Division units on 13104 and 13136 talking with supervisors. I also heard two units running a speed trap around I-485 on 13528.

You were pretty close in your guesses. 13104 is called Metro Tac and 13136 is called Metro SCU for Street Crime Unit. There is now a seperate TG for Conference, Tac and SCU in each of the 12 divisions along with the normal dispatch TG. You mentioned 13528 but that is probably a bad number since it is not divisible by 16.

Thank you, everybody. This is exactly the kind of info I was hoping to get with my original post. Does Bill or anyone else have any more of the ID numbers for other divisions' Tac and SCU TG's? If we all pool our information, I'm hoping all of us as a group can come with enough to update the RR database to reflect all the new TG's. The Tac and SCU TG's seem to be the only missing piece.

I was listening last night, and Freedom Division officers went to "Freedom Conference" for surveilence on a house. They were not talking on the old Adam 5, but they were on the old Adam Tac. They repeatedly called that "Freedom Conference". This is the only thing different from the list above that I have been able to identify. All of the others seem to be correct.

Thank you. That's the same kind of thing I'm finding when I try to figure out the new Tac and SCU TG's. They're up in the 13000's but there's not a consistent pattern that makes it easy to project all of them once a few are figured out. There was a dynamite update to the database recently by ericcarlson for the county fire and EMS. I'm keeping hoping he or someone else will be able to post the same kind of update for CMPD.
