New Codeplug created for G5.

Recently I changed over to using the Version 4 PPS to program my G5. I was using Version 3 and had a very long list of talkgroups, over 1,000. So with Version 4 I was able to divide these talkgroups into much smaller groupings for each system. I am in northwestern Ohio and I have the talkgroups programmed in various systems for all of of the Ohio State Highway Patrol dispatch groups, plus many county sheriff groups and some fire and EMS dispatch groups for the entire state. I also have some systems and talkgroups for a small portion of Michigan, and more for a small portion of extreme northeast Indiana.

So it has taken a lot of time to sort those all out and separate them from my long list, but I think the time was well spent. Version 4 is a vast improvement.

Also, my county sheriff uses VHF DMR for all of their operations, so I have the DMR option, too.

I've had my G5 since 2017, so I have had the pleasure of starting from scratch several times due to many firmware updates, and a few different versions of PPS. So far, I have my entire state, as well as all of the surrounding states. Things are much easier now that files can be created in a .csv and imported directly to PPS. As you already know, it's time consuming for sure, but well worth it in the end.
