Given address on license being Carter Finley, good assumption for stadium use.

A new license for 5W DMR radios has been issued to NCSU in Raleigh, a total of 5 frequencies are on the license and appears to be 2 repeater pairs and one simplex. Possibly used for Carter Finley Stadium. Has anyone heard them yet, or know what these are used for?

But they're all listed for MO operation only.
License was granted on 8-27, just in time for the season opener on Thursday nite, (8-29).

Yes my guess is parking, concessions, or operations, something along that nature where only hand helds are used.

I'm betting since the contact on the license is an athletic trainer for the football team, the license is active just in time for football season, and coach-to-player comms are now approved in NCAA...those frequencies are likely used for helmet comms from the sidelines.

If it's anything like NFL, I wouldn't expect to hear any non-encrypted traffic and you would have to be in the stadium to even pick the signal up.

Great catch @trumpetman thanks for that
