New EAM format?

Guys I have been neglecting my rig for quite some time recently so my apologies if this question has previously been addressed. Last night while monitoring EAM's out of MAC I noticed the addition of "this completes message of 46 characters" after the EAM content was broadcast. When did this start?

I have heard this used off and on for years. I believe, but do not know, that this is operator dependant, some do it and some do not.

I have heard it also and can not find any pattern.. So Im guessing it is up to the operator to insert it as T has stated

May be service specific. AF is not the only user of those frequencies.

Also, there have been A LOT of EAM's since the beginning of the week. Especially with some of my VERY wierd catches, including the "weapons not released" call. It's been an interesting week on GCS!

Usually EAM's with prefixes ex "For Oscar Oscar" are mission-specific EAM's.

Lots of EAM's are not coming from Andrews, but from McClellan and other places, a lot of airborne platforms, too.
