I think he made a oops and hit the UHF instead. I have seen postings before of them on 11175 HF. I haven't been into shortwave in years. I had tthought about getting another one but I don't always have free time to sit around listening. At least with the scanners I can let my computer catch the action and play it later.

Im out near Westover AFB, just a lil northeast..

We routinely get helo,jet fighter and MSP airwing flyovers.

Today we got a buzz by that was more of a screamer that looked like a
c130,but had 4 jet engines,not the c130 props....was going from the south to the north..not the typical
that are coming from the s-west to the n-east..Maybe a c17?,,but i did not see the regular bulge in the mid fuselage
there was a smaller bulge on the underside of the front..typical grey color scheme..


This bird was L-O-W...maybe 2500 feet...

can anyone give me an idea what it may have been,what aircraft are common for Westover AFB..
