Hmm...I didn't realize they did those broadcasts. NOAA2 ( P3, "Kermit" Hurricane Hunter Aircraft, N42RF) was off the coast of Yarmouth NS this morning (1015Z) circling in the eye of the storm at less than 10,000ft.07/04/14
1640 local- Hearing NOAA 49 giving position reports about every 5 minutes on 121.50 "to all aircraft in the area", "flight level from the surface up to FL 440".
I'm assuming this is a NOAA hurricane hunter A/C since the storm is just passing off of NJ. Good signal here in CNJ, started fading after about 1700 hours.
