Funny you mention that. Out of the blue I started getting recall notices from Honda in someone else’s name to my address. With the only intention of doing the right thing, ensuring the owner would get his recalls, I was able to obtain the dealership he purchased from, as well as his current address in Michigan. Then some googling revealed he was a doctor. His recalls were coming to Long Island.

Thanks. Now to make a script to search the data. I think I'll host the website on Github. Silly wittle FAA wabbits. You'd think there wasn't LADD, PIA, trusts or aircraft privacy registration companies who's name escapes me...

I present thy the AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION MASTER FILE SEARCH TOOL. Coded in HTML, JavaScript and CSS. Which means this is a browser-based App.

You'll need a computer with at least 9 GB of RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Zen 3 CPU. This is due to the ten years (2015-2025) worth of data in the master files that the script searches though in the compressed Master.zip file.

To use -

1) unzip the AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION MASTER FILE SEARCH TOOL.ZIP file.

2) Then double click on the AIRCRAFT REGISTRATION MASTER FILE SEARCH TOOL.html browser script file.

3) Browse to the Master.zip file in the browser-based App and search away.

DO NOT unzip the Master.zip file. It's probably around 1.8 GB worth of text. The script uses JavaScript libraries to open the compressed Master.zip file. So no need to unpack the file.

This script makes only two outside URL calls to the Cloudflare CDN (Content Delivery Network) for the dependency libraries. If you have no Internet this script will not work.
