Hi, I am new and trying to setup the ScannerCast (V0.14) software. I created my account and RR Feed this morning and have received the authorization that my Audio Feed request was accepted. I have the software running on a Windows XP machine, and it will retrieve my auto-config info for my user account. I have selected an active soundcard. When I press the "Start Broadcasting" button, I get "ScannerCast PUSH Error 104" Invalid reply from RR, Connection Refused.

My account on the "Live Audio Feed" section shows "Coming Soon"

I have tried connecting at 10am, 11am, 11:30am, 12pm and 2:30pm and continue to get same message.
"ScannerCast PUSH Error 104"

Do I need to wait for servers to update my info, before I can connect? Or is there something I need to change on my settings?

Thank you for any assistance.

The RR servers are already set up.

You just need to send audio.

Check to make sure that you have .net 2.0 framework or higher on your computer.

A “PUSH Error 104” should be rare. It occurs during an initial connect attempt when ScannerCast gets a reply from Icecast that doesn’t look like a properly formatted HTTP reply. The dialog box that is displayed will actually show the suspicious reply, as will the log.

I suggest you try again.

Log into your RR account in ScannerCast.
Select the feed.
Start broadcasting.

Okay, So I have had some time to play with connections and different OS's. I am trying to use my work supplied internet connection. I used a program called WireShark, to see all internet traffic while connecting ScannerCast. I get the error when it is trying to connect to a port 64476, I also think I see where it is requesting to use Multicast for the traffic. I have requested to not have any ports blocked for that machine to see if that fixes it. But I also know my work's connection does not support multicasting, which is where I believe is the problem. Working on aquiring another internet connection.
