HI EVERONE THIS QUESTION IS REGARDING NJ TRUNPIKE I TRAVEL THE NJ JERSEY TRUNPIKE A LOT DURUNG THE SUMMER MOUNTHS JUST WONDERING IF ANY ONE HAS THE NJ TURNPIKE POLICE FREAQ ONLY FOR THE TURNPIKE ONLY I NOW THEY HAD A FREQ ONLY FOR THE NJ TRURNPIKE POLICE IS IT STILL IN PLACE TODAY. PLEASE LET ME NO THANK YOU :D :D

There are no turnpike police. Troop D State Police are incorporated in the three systems and part of the Trunked Moto System. No stand-alones exist any more. Three talk groups (Newark, Cranbury and Moorestown)

The Turnpike has 2 main frequencies, used mostly calling Operations, I would suppose. But now that Turnpike workers are given cell phones, I'm sure most calls would be done by phone. Frequencies are:

159.1800
453.6875

159.180's PL tone is 131.8 Hz.

Hover cars come to mind.

TrunkPikes are used when your working on your engine in a VW and the trunk keeps slamming closed. So you install a TrunkPike to keep it open, usualy a broken broom handle.
