Was in Santa Fe the past few days, and heard nothing on this system for State Police District One. Never even saw signal detected on the radio from the two local sites( Bataan bldg. and Tesuque Peak). They were however using the old VHF channels. Anyone have info on this?

D1 is definitely active on 700, I would check your programming. I've heard atleast the dispatcher on VHF as well.

I would definitely check your programming. Santa Fe sites are active with D1 traffic.

Is your scanner Phase 2 capable? State Police talkgroups are operating in TDMA mode more often than not these days. D1 is active on Tesuque all the time.

Still nothing new on Los Lunas and Capilla as near as I can tell. I wonder if Motorola is suffering increased lead times due to the pandemic..

Watching Pro96Com tonight and see talk group 15022. Not in database. Didn’t hear radio traffic of course. 34002 just popped up with six digit radio IDs. 351028, 351068. Everything else is 5 digit radio IDs. Listening on Sandia site.

15022 is Los Lunas PD and 15036 is Los Lunas FD. They aren't in the DB yet because their offical use is unknown at this time since they haven't made the swtich yet.

34002 belong to one of them 3 letter agencies. ;-)

I probably need to look more closely, but I'm pretty certain I've heard NMSP D1 traffic utilizing both Phase 1 and Phase 2.
They could be using Dynamic Dual Mode.

"Dynamic Dual Mode, an optional feature, allows users to interoperate between P25 FDMA and P25 TDMA services. It is part of the call processing application and uses an advanced control channel that dynamically switches call assignments between FDMA and TDMA. Dynamic Dual Mode is seamless to users and requires no intervention from users or network operators. For example, if a user in an active P25 TDMA talkgroup call roams onto a P25 FDMA-only site, the system automatically initiates P25 FDMA mode at the next push-to-talk (PTT). Or if an active P25 TDMA talkgroup call is underway at a site and a P25 FDMA-only member of the talkgroup joins (or “affiliates”) with the call, the system automatically switches the call to P25 FDMA mode at the next PTT. The FDMA-only user is now included in the call, and the call switched without any user intervention or awareness."

 OK, now are you talking meaning that this is possibly Multi-Simulcast usage & Communications being used with the NMSP & possibly others switching & communicating on both P25 FDMA & P25 TDMA? If so, than it sounds like more & more NM Residents like me may need one of the new Uniden SDS Series Digital Scanners to help out with this.
