BC125AT: New program BC125AT

I have a new uniden BC125AT why is the screen having a glitch in the screen writing? How do I unlock it? How do I program it for a Nascar Race?

Thank You Sharon! My main problem is that it is new with a glitch in the writing on main screen would like to fix that and get it working before Nascar race.

Ive had success with a similar scanner, 325P2 that had no display. Opened it up and made sure it had contact with the display contacts and put back together. It wasn't a cable connect issue.

Have you tried a reset?

To reset the Uniden BC125AT, turn off the scanner, then press and hold the 2, 9, and HOLD keys while turning the scanner back on. This will clear all data and return the scanner to its initial settings.

I also use the Unden software program my BC125AT. Works fine.

I have i am all good other then a glitch in the screen where you see the writing. I need some one local to program mine.

ummm...unless I'm reading that display wrong, it says 'charging'....guess what that means?

Sorry Mike I know it is Charging but the screen letters don't show up like new and it is new.

Adjusting the Contrast
This submenu of the Display/Charge menu controls the display’s contrast (how light or dark it appears) for different viewing conditions. There are 15 contrast settings. You see the contrast change as you scroll through the settings.
1. To adjust the contrast, press Func then ; the Display/ Charge menu displays
2. Scroll to Set Contrast and press Pgm/E.
3. Scroll to see the contrast settings.
4. When you have selected a setting, press Pgm/E to set it and return to the previous menu.
5. Press . Clr to exit.
