hello I have bought a new BCD436HP and I was wanting to ask what are the systems I can monitor and which ones cannot Monitor
oh and By The way I really have Enjoyed Listening to IL State Police on district 22
all help will be apprietaied

If your listening to District 22 your in very southern Illinois. You'll be able to listen to all the non encrypted Starcom 21 plus local VHF High Band. You won't be able to listen to the NXDN which some Kentucky Counties use. I believe Carbondale Illinois PD just went to a NXDN system.

You should be able to moniter Ky State Police as they are non trunked P25 UHF system. A lot of southern Illinois Counties like Saline, Hardin, Pope, Gallatin are still using VHF Hi band. Just check out the data base it's all there in the Illinois, Ky and Mo sections.

Depending on you location you might be able to pickup Missouri's trunked radio system MOSWIN.
