i just recently purchased a radio shack pro-96 and i want to set it up to scan metro police and THP frequencies. i have never used something like this so i am completely in the dark with what all the buttons do and all the lingo. i do a lot of highway driving and in conjunction with a radar detector and laser shifters i believe that a police radio scanner would fit right in perfectly.
