I recently joined a Yahoo group, FCC-Grant-OK, run by Rich McVicar. Weekly he sends out an email with all the FCC activity for the state (there is one for each state). Got the latest one when I got home this evening, and look what I found, right at the top:

Apparently this is a construction permit, just issued, but it's something for you people in Tulsa to keep on the lookout for.

Mark thanks for the heads up however those are not new frequencies at all. They are the frequencies used for the MDTs here in the Tulsa area. Thanks...

OK, PJ, thanks. The FCC notice was labeled "01/09/06 Construction/Coverage Reminder Letter Sent" and i didn't see anything on the Tulsa db page, so I thought I'd send it on. Of course, being for the MDTs, I guess it wouldn't be listed.

Didn't even know that page was there I always saw the City of Tulsa/DPS page, and didn't know the other one was there. Sorry about that! I'll have to add it to my bookmarks.

Edit: Darn, I can't add it to my Watched Systems! This is not the first that won't work, and it's annoying!

Yeah there are several conventional sections under Tulsa County including the City of Tulsa, Tulsa County, as well as all the towns in Tulsa County. There are also a ton of conventional frequencies releated to hospitals and buisnesses etc. If you haven't seen them please check them out. I personaly have down a lot of scanning and research to keep them updated and valid. Enjoy...and yes MDTs are for TPD and I think Sand Springs PD just got MDTs. I think Broken Arrow might be getting them if they don't already have them as well as Bixby and Glenpool?
