SDS150: New Uniden Scanner announcement at SEMA 2025

Based on this, I won't even consider them. I think I can figure out how to enter the feature keys all on my own.

They are late to the party but Zip Scanners just started taking pre-orders for the SDS150 today (12-02-2025) at the same price of $949.99 that everyone is charging. It states on their webpage "Now taking backorders! Expected to ship in January!" and "Stock is limited & we expect to sell out."

As with previous scanner models they are charging high prices if they install any upgrades for you before shipping the scanner to you. DMR will set you back $99.99 ($60 if purchased directly from Uniden) while NXDN and ProVoice will set you back $89.99 each ($50 each if purchased directly from Uniden).

The other thing on their SDS150 webpage that caught my eye was their $59.99 price for the Remtronix 920S rubber duck antenna which sells at Scanner Master for $36.95. Caveat emptor!

Whoever he , he’s felt the need to make a daily video about the sds150 .

I saw him as well on YouTube when looking for information on the SDS150, he was very upset re Uniden's launch of the scanner, for some reason that remains a complete mystery to me.
