I got mine today (2 Days) from BCW and it came UPS with signature required.
That's pretty quick. Did you pay for second d? Or is it because you are closer to BCW? I live in Fort Worth Texas. So, I figure it might take the full three days.
James

Scanner Master is still showing processing on my first order.
My sister told me earlier that I should keep both for a bit then sell one.
( I am wondering if she is wanting to borrow one?)

I preordered and paid the “special” ($18) 3 day - I am outside of Myrtle Beach, SC so about the same straight line distance.

So, it loads full database faster. What does that mean?
Basically when there's a battalion of firetrucks screaming down your street and your thinking "oh crap what's going on?" You don't have to wait for next to an eternity like on your SDS100 or 436 for the scanner to actually boot. Obviously that's not really what you're looking for but IIRC this same YouTube page has a video of a SDS100 and SDS150 scanning the same P25 system. Look at the Decode Error Rate of each.

Yep, that'd be my page.

Nice ride. That's about the time trucks started having power steering. Some of the older trucks I drove didn't. When I asked my boss if he was going to get some trucks with power steering he said he already had some. I asked which ones? My truck didn't have power steering. He said yes it does, it's called Armstrong power steering!
I found I liked the Armstrong power steering after he bought a add on called Steer Safe. It was a bar on each side of the steering axle that had heavy duty springs ( two on each end of the bar) attached to the back of the brake drums. When you went past center the springs would pull the wheels in the direction you turning. Those were okay until one day driving into downtown Fort Worth on the freeway and in a curve the right front tire blew out. Those steer safe springs like to have pulled me clear off the freeway, through a guard rail and down a hillside. It was all I could do to get stopped without running off of the highway. Once I quit shaking I changed the blown out tire and put my spare on. ( we kept a hydraulic jack and tools to change tires along with full toolbox)
Once I had the tire changed, I took steering safe contraptions off of the axle. I put them on the bosses desk when I got back to the yard. He asked what happened. I told him and he had the shop mechanic take them off of all his trucks.

( I warned folks I had a lot of stories)

So, it loads full database faster. What does that mean?
NC Viper has over 240 sites statewide, besides state agencies, there are federal agencies and it seems like half of the county and city agencies in the state are on the system. A local regional system covers 6 counties. I travel with mine and use GPS in the car or manual location when portable to enable the sites and departments. The Favorites list for each is quite large. Takes about 15 seconds to load them on startup. If I am traveling to a new area I don't want to program a favorites list for ahead of time, I enable the full database which takes 34 seconds to load.

So yes, it matters.

do you think they will come out with the mobile called SDS 250?

Was there a mention they were developing the SDS150? It suddenly appeared recently by beta testers. For all we know, beta testers have one now.

It was already asked in this very thread, repeatedly, and also re-stated repeatedly in this thread. It was stated by the beta tester that there is no 250 in testing right now. And, as I have opined in this very thread already, it was said in a tongue-in-cheek way that alluded to the possibility that there is another scanner in testing, but it is not a 250.

Personally, I am still crossing whichever appendages will cross to see the 500 released. Preferably in a large touchscreen form with some version of the HP-1 user interface.

And before bellyaching over my repeatedly repeating that I have repeated myself, please note that the search button is in fact easier than catching up on 72+ pages of thread. Which if you were a real fan you would have been reading from the beginning anyway.

This sounds like desense. The transmitting radio is overloading the front end of the scanner,
This is normal. The subscriber radios only TX ~50% of the time due to TDMA and close call doesn't like it. Repeaters transmit both slots and can be detected fine though.

Searching, or reading, before asking is sooooo over-rated! Just ask again and let someone else search for you. It’s like old-school AI.
