Just for the new members that was a joke from the UPMan days when people would think Uniden was buy the Mods.
Okay, I could have sworn it gave the carrier information too.
That looks really weird. The longer the shipping time the more expensive???
That's what I was thinking that's nuts. I may wait til HRO has them plus I can get it next day. That looks really weird. The longer the shipping time the more expensive???
That's pretty quick. Did you pay for second d? Or is it because you are closer to BCW? I live in Fort Worth Texas. So, I figure it might take the full three days.I got mine today (2 Days) from BCW and it came UPS with signature required.
I preordered and paid the “special” ($18) 3 day - I am outside of Myrtle Beach, SC so about the same straight line distance. That's pretty quick. Did you pay for second d? Or is it because you are closer to BCW? I live in Fort Worth Texas. So, I figure it might take the full three days.

Scanner Master is still showing processing on my first order.
My sister told me earlier that I should keep both for a bit then sell one.
( I am wondering if she is wanting to borrow one?)
So, it loads full database faster. What does that mean?
Basically when there's a battalion of firetrucks screaming down your street and your thinking "oh crap what's going on?" You don't have to wait for next to an eternity like on your SDS100 or 436 for the scanner to actually boot. Obviously that's not really what you're looking for but IIRC this same YouTube page has a video of a SDS100 and SDS150 scanning the same P25 system. Look at the Decode Error Rate of each. So, it loads full database faster. What does that mean?
Yep, that'd be my page.Basically when there's a battalion of firetrucks screaming down your street and your thinking "oh crap what's going on?" NC Viper has over 240 sites statewide, besides state agencies, there are federal agencies and it seems like half of the county and city agencies in the state are on the system. A local regional system covers 6 counties. I travel with mine and use GPS in the car or manual location when portable to enable the sites and departments. The Favorites list for each is quite large. Takes about 15 seconds to load them on startup. If I am traveling to a new area I don't want to program a favorites list for ahead of time, I enable the full database which takes 34 seconds to load. So, it loads full database faster. What does that mean?
Faster CPU???So, it loads full database faster. What does that mean?
do you think they will come out with the mobile called SDS 250?
Was there a mention they were developing the SDS150? It suddenly appeared recently by beta testers. For all we know, beta testers have one now.
This is normal. The subscriber radios only TX ~50% of the time due to TDMA and close call doesn't like it. Repeaters transmit both slots and can be detected fine though. This sounds like desense. The transmitting radio is overloading the front end of the scanner,
Searching, or reading, before asking is sooooo over-rated! Just ask again and let someone else search for you. It’s like old-school AI.And before bellyaching over my repeatedly repeating that I have repeated myself, please note that the search button is in fact easier than catching up on 72+ pages of thread. Which if you were a real fan you would have been reading from the beginning anyway.
I have started a clear, consolidated list of SDS150 improvements relative to the SDS100 in the FAQ section of the SDS150 wiki at SDS150 - The RadioReference WikiIt would be great to see a list of improvements over the 1st generation of SDS scanners!
