new uniden scanner

i thought i read a while back that uniden is making a scanner that decodes fire pager tone or something along that line is this true?

Yes, it's true...the new BCD396T due out late summer of this year does in fact have a "fire tone out" feature that you can set to open squelch only when certain tones are sent out...just like a pager basically.
