Since the switch to the new forums, I seem to have keep logging in. I have the stay logged in checkbox checked, but it seems like at least once a day now I go to the forums and see I'm logged out. I have to click the login option and log back in. I don't recall that issue in the old forums.

How long is the keep me logged in option supposed to keep me logged in?

Only for staff and moderators. :p

For all the dark theme lovers, I just switched back to the default and I think I like it better. One person's opinion.
I too use only the 'default theme'. The dark background with white text really strains my eyes. Worse when some folks decide to use "colors" such as yellow, red, or dark blue for their text. Then it's unreadable altogether!

I am one who truly disliked the vBulletin forum software... it was so 90's... :ROFLMAO:

You're a Premium Subscriber so you wouldn't see ads here.

Only if logged in, however, which I am not 100% of the time. An adblocker also has the benefit of stopping the tracking scripts that still run regardless of premium subscription status.

Hey Folks,
I call myself looking both through the forums and the new preferences but is there an easy way to get back to getting a daily digest of updates in the forums I follow rather than an email for every new post?
Thank you very much!

I find that I have to log in to the forums section a few times a day now. I never had to do this with the old format. Any way for the system to keep me logged in for a more extended time (yes, I do have the "remember me" checkbox checked).
The main RR section still keeps me logged in for at least a week at a time. No issues there.

I haven't had to log in once after the initial time on three different computers. I would suspect your browser is clearing cache or cookies for some reason (maybe you have it set to when you close it or something) and that would affect it. May not be the case but just thinking out loud.

Under Privacy Options, turning off the 'Show your on-line status' and 'Show your current activity' does not seem to work. I unchecked those boxes, but as you can see I still have the green triangle showing in my avatar.

Nor does unchecking "receive email" options - my inbox has been flooded with "New Xenforo RadioReference User Forums" emails for the last week, despite opting out of all email notifications immediately upon logging into the new forum.

I don't see it, but I don't know if you're on. :)

Those are default options. It was likely auto-watched before you changed those default options. So, you can unwatch this thread (and re-watch if you wish) to fix it.

In other words, unchecking those boxes doesn't affect the currently watched threads, only new ones.

The colorful scrabble letters showing users names seems Windows 10ish but if we had this kinda stuff in the 1960's I bet the forums would look psychedelic groovy or something ya know

Some seem to be confusing things - you seem to be confusing the features of XF (the forums software we're now all using here on RR) and RadioReference itself. The 'like' button is a feature of XF (and can greatly reduce the length of threads when people can just click 'like' instead of commenting that they like it!) and not something that RR specifically added (though I'm glad it's there for the reason mentioned already). In fact, most of the changes are for this reason. Since RR had to upgrade the forums software, complaining about the changes doesn't really help anything. Some things can be tweaked but many things are just new features or different methods of the same thing because of the different software.
