Newark FD on NJICS or 769?

On my SDS200 I am trying to add NFD and see them in both in NJICS and with their 769 Mhz and a UHF backup....I did a search but didn't see anything in the forum...Have they not switched over to NJICS? Is there something specific in Sentinel that needs to be set...Thx..

Got it!...for some reason when you create a new fav it automatically is marked as Monitor=No...changed it to yes and it is now receiving..

If you are using Sentinel you can click the Edit Profile button, brings up a bunch of options to set. Hear you will see Monitor | Download. You can tick on or off and save the profile. This programming system took me a while to get use to and I do believe I still mess stuff up each time I touch the system, but for the most part I know how to work around it now.

I am in bergen county was rec newark fd on the west orange simulcast but now i lost then any help or input thank you

So Garrett Mountain was removed from the WO Simulcast and put in Site 17, Passaic. But if you get Site 1, you should get Newark FD. I don't monitor NFD. I will add them to my G4 or G5 to see what I get. Imagining NFD is mighty busy.

No I don't get Newark fd on either the are both dead any help would be greatly appreciated

Just put the 4 NFD channels in my G4. And a call just came across for Engine 18...

Site 1 is programmed.

My guess is you were getting signal from Garret Mountain (Site 1). Now that Garrett Mountain is no longer Site 1, now Site 17, you are not getting Site 1 any longer from your location.

I had a couple of other friends lose Newark and all of Essex County stuff when the switch was made a couple of weeks ago.
