Newbie needs help 436hp

I am new to the scanner world, i have a Uniden bcd436hp scanner i am in the south end of the Salt Lake County area and wondering if anyone has pre programmed files for police, fire and medical would be willing to share them? Also how does this particular scanner receive the p25 phase 1 and 2 systems? Is there any particular settings i should be aware to set for better reception?
