For Chopper 6, I have also heard him up on 455.2375/156.7.

I mostly hear Chopper 3 on 450.550/107.2 which is CBS 3's channel 1. I do have the other freq you listed in the scanner, but don't recall seeing the Chopper there recently.

Chopper 10 can be heard on 455.050/114.8 and 455.150/114.8

SkyFox is on 450.2875/151.4. This is the only repeater of the bunch...everybody else works simplex.

You might also hear them on 123.450, but there's a lot of informal air-air chit chat there other than the news guys. 123.025 is the official unicom/advisory freq for helo traffic moving into and out of Philadelphia (you'll hear all the news and medevac birds checking in here as the pass landmarks like the Roxborough Towers).

Everything in the civil air band 108-136 is simplex and AM mode.

Brandywine Airport's unicom/CTAF frequency is 123.075
Chester Co/G.O. Carlson is 122.700
Keystone Heliport is 123.050
New Garden is 123.050

CTAF = common traffic advisory frequency; these frequencies are used at airports without control towers. Inbound traffic essentially controls itself with pilots coordinating on the assigned freq. There are so many small airports in the region that every unicom frequency is in use somewhere in the area. Most are reused several times over, so you will hear traffic from multiple airports. Unicoms are found between 122.7 and 123.1.

I drilled down the frequencies listed on the link, combined them with my own observations, and submitted them for posting to the media listing under Philadelphia. The callsigns for some frequencies remain unknown and others were discovered. The other question that comes to my mind would be "what trunked system(s) was Express Traffic using?"
