Ok, so I'm pretty new to this. Can someone in the New Hanover County area please explain how to use the trunking system. I can listen in to the 800mhz, but I don't really fully understand the trunking system and what it is. Please post here or email me...

1st, what type of scanner are you wanting to use to monitor them?

New hanover is a type 2 motorola i have alot of experiance with it, even transmitted it quite a bit.
