I was scanning with my SDS200 and thought I would try to play around with the full database, and set range to about 30 miles. Its picking up some stuff I never heard. This morning on 168.1125 NAC 68Fh there was what seemed to be a roll call.It was very strong signal but not sure where it could have been. The display in radio said "NIFOG vhf Fed. Law enforcement interoperability"

I will have to go look up the freq when I'm home but I have recently been getting hits on one with the same NAC in the KC area. No voice recorded yet.

If you look through the NIFOG you'll see multiple frequencies assigned that NAC

Last night I was able to receive the same 163 mhz frequency in Southern DE. It was P25 simplex. I heard what sounded like a police car following a vehicle on Route 209. I searched for this US route and it showed PA. The police were also passing information about a PA registration. Signal was very clear and strong. I was listening using my sds100 and an external 2m/70cm roof antenna. Since they were so strong I tried my luck. I put on my Diamond RC77A antenna and was still picking up the signal from my residence indoors. The closets portion of Rt 209 to my area in Delaware is 207 miles.

I am also getting hits on that frequency with the same NAC in northwest Florida. No voice recorded yet ether. The radio techs have been in my area for the past two weeks for what sounds like retuning duplexers. I believe three wide area repeater systems are using the same antenna on the tower. The audio tone generator comes up on three different agency repeaters. 172.2875 N650, 167.2375 N167, and 170.7375 N156. Same signal strength from all three repeaters with the same unit ID 3224238.
