Actually easiest way to do it is in the browser just highlight the list in message 49 and while highlighted, right click Copy and then Paste into your programming software.
Second, since the list isnt really too large just hand program the frequencies into your scanner.

Chuck it may be easier for you to enter the 15 frequencies manually on the Conventional tab of your software. If you do that, go down to the section of these instructions starting with "Highlight the first row." to enter them into a scan list. With the PSR-800 software, you can paste only one frequency at a time. By importing it as a csv text file, all of the frequencies will go in. I just tried both methods with my software. I copied the frequencies on message #49 into Excel, deleted the columns with the license and modulation, and saved it as a csv file. Chuck, save the zipped file to your computer and extract. Go to the Conventional Frequencies tab on you PSR-800 software. At the bottom right corner of the screen, click on Import from Text File. Find the extracted file "Niles CSV Test", highlight it and click open. On the Import Screen, click on Column 1 at the top of the frequency list. Click on the arrow and click on Frequency. Click on Import. Highlight the first row. Hold down the shift key while clicking on the bottom row. That will highlight all 15 rows. Under Scanlists at the far right of the rows, click on one of the highlighted rows. A box will come up for Select Scanlists. Click on All Off, click on the box for Scanlist 6 to highlight it, and click on Set. The 15 conventional frequencies are now on scan list 6. Go to the General Settings tab and click on the Scanlist 6 Enabled box to highlight it.

Well I was almost in Niles, so I pulled over at exit 5 park and ride. That's just 4 miles from the LE Complex.

After 20 minutes of nothing, I drove over to the PD. Yep, the antennas were still up.

I switched to close call on my SDS100, 20 minutes later, still nothing. An ambulance passed by going priority 2.

I have nothing to show for an hour of monitoring in the area.

I give up for now. I need my SDR w/dsd, Icom R30 to really snoop.

I just spoke with a friend (ham) who is on the BCSD (his XYL is a Dispatcher), he said Niles City is on MPSCS. Fire County dispatch is 151.295 and 156.105.

Sounds like we might need to search for an unknown talkgroup on the Sumnerville Tower. I'm monitoring just the Sumnerville tower now. I think the missing TG is called Metro South (11METSO). Just need the number...

Niles City PD units have 67 for their unit prefix, prefix 14 is the BCSD contracted to Niles Twp.

I'll post again when I know more.

While we are waiting for the missing talkgroup, here is a new file including the 2 VHF fire frequencies. The conventional frequencies are in scan list 6.

I double checked the database and didn't find any new talkgroups that are not already in the file. I don't see any Ncom, Scom, or Ecom listed in the database See if you can get the TGID for each of them.

Through a comedy of errors, I wasn't able to review the recordings I made of Sumnerville tower. Interestingly, Macomb County was coming through TG 2192. No luck finding Metro South, I'll have to circle back with my friend regarding that.

Anyway, here are the TG I would monitor if in Niles. Name in parenthesis is the name used by the units in the TG.

I see North Common, South Common, and East Common in the Interops talkgroups. Everything in your list plus additional items are in the file except for the 3 bottom items. Keep an eye out for Metro South.

I see 3109 and 3290 are both listed as com south in the db, I hadn't noticed that before. I'll need to monitor that and see if I can get the db updated appropriately. This might be the missing TG.

I have hundreds of radio ids mapped out, will the scanner utilize those?

Ditto. You're not saying what you are having difficulty with. I'm going to guess you aren't quite sure how to select up a specific city or department. Did you read through the manual? Have you updated the EZScan program and database? Here is a link to a site that might make the operation of the scanner and software a little easier to understand:
