I used to hear the M.E. talk group on the 800 side, it has been a while since I have heard anything. It was never that active. The only time I ever heard anything really extensive was when a couple planes collided at Caldwell Airport many years ago.

State medical examiner I do believe still does operate. Rumor has it one of those state police encrypted channels on NJICS is used for their radio dispatch parts. Like another has mentioned too many of their work anymore also has moved to cellular devices. They use the radio system only for interop with on scene police and prosecutor. All other follow up investigations that they do is simply cellular based anymore.
