NJ Transit New System

Has anyone heard that NJ Transit 800 system is being upgraded to digital? If you look on a local vendor's site (Procomm Systems Inc. Home Page) they state they are in the process of constructing 23 microwave system sites with a May of 2012 expected completion date.

Probably for the backbone infrastructure linking between sites. I thought NJ Transit just completed a TETRA pilot not too long ago.

They did just finish that pilot test earlier in the year. NJTransit uses microwave for functions in both bus operations, rail operations, and relay for various other misc things.
