NJSP talkgroups numbers

Replaced my stolen Uniden 796 with a BCD996T. I programmed the nothern New Jersey State Police(B) frequencies and the talkgroup numbers are not in the DEC or Hex format. The numbers are 400-9,400-11,400-12,400-14,400-15,601-0,300-9. I've never seen numbers like these and can't find any info on this site. Does anyone know have any experience with these type of numbers and can point me in the right direction?

Those numbers are in the format of the old Type I Motorola talkgroups. I suspect when you were programming the new scanner you accidentally programmed the NJSP as a Type I Motorola trunked system. It used to be Type I, then a Type IIi. It is now completely Type II. If you reprogram the system as Type II you should see the talkgroups as listed here in Radioreference.
