My scanner whistler ws1080 when i program it for Troop B it wants to put all the sites in there . Living in Sussex County i only need the North Simulcast programmed correct ? Thanks

Yes, you’ll likely only be within range of the north simulcast from Sussex county. If you’re in southern or western Sussex you MIGHT get some traffic from the Montana mountain or Easton IRs but I’ve rarely been able to hear either of those sites from the Vernon area in my travels.

i work in all of sussex county so i should be ok with just North Simulcast then right ? Whats the radius i wonder of North Simulcast ? Thanks for the quick response

The north simulcast has coverage over virtually the entire northern part of the state, I’ve picked up the control channel as far south as ocean county though.

Yes just use the north simulcast.
