Radio Shack/Whistler/GRE and Uniden use their own servers for the updates. The data gets pulled from Radio Reference into each companies servers and parsed into each companies format. Updates don't come directly from RR into I-Scan.

I updated both my GRE and my RS with 4/11. Try cleanirg your cache and see if that helps.

I was able to get an update Sentinel BCDx36HP but no Sentinel Home Patrol this week so far.

Yes I just ran EZ-Scan which I also have installed, and it also went to 4/11

Uniden uses a program called Sentinel.

And, yes, updates for GRE/Whistler have nothing to do with updates for Uniden models.

Glad to hear from UPMan with confirmation and explanation...

Curious, did the database update servers/services for HP-1 have this much trouble or is this just more the curse of the x36 line?

HP1/2 and BCDx36HP updates are all done at the same time, on the same server, using almost identical software. And, 95% of the time, when one fails, the other one does, too. No curse. Just occasional cursing.

Sounds like someone needs some basic network/device monitoring capability?

Something as simple as an occasional Ping program along with some MRTG graphs would be useful.
