BCD325P2/BCD996P2: Noise on recorder out line

Does anyone have a recommendation for reducing the noise on my scanner feed. There's always a hum there, despite coming out of the recorder line. I'm sure it has to do with the cable, does anyone have a recommendation for a cable?
