I have a Uniden/Bearcat SDS 100 scanner with the DMR upgrade I installed/purchased about a year ago. I downloaded the North Wildwood PD DMR frequency information from the RR database and was able to receive them without any issues. Recently I noticed I was no longer receiving North Wildwood PD. I deleted them and reinstalled them into the scanner using the RR database. Still nothing. Anyone have any ideas why?? Thank you in advance.

According to the RR DB, they’re on the NJICS now. The TG is listed under Cape May county.

Sorry, I'm still a newbie. (1st new scanner in over 15 years) I'm a little confused on how to program this into my scanner. Does that mean we can only listen to N. Wildwood through the simulcast? Or can we still here them directly on there 460.4125 DMA frequency

This is listed in the RRDB as a tac channel for which you'd need the DMR upgrade to monitor. Primary operations won't happen there, not sure how often it's utilized. Please review my guidance to you here to pick up their day-to-day ops

Someone local with a DMR capable scanner will need to verify usage of DMR conventional channel below being that primary ops are now carried on NJICS

North Wildwood does not use their old frequency. They solely use the NJICS and their Cape May County talk group. You can program in and scan all of the Cape May County talk groups by using the Radio Reference database. In 15 years scanners have come a long way in that you need a computer to program them and there is a learning curve. Once you get the hang of it you will see how easy it is to program your scanner.

Then perhaps someone should submit an update requesting deprecation to avoid confusion if these are confirmed no longer in use?
