Larceny/Pursuit: Donnell W. Kitt, 42, of Suitland, MD, was charged with credit card theft, petit larceny, felony hit and run, felony eluding and reckless driving. A deputy was notified of a purse snatching in the area and the suspect was fleeing in an SUV. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated. The vehicle attempted to elude authorities and a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle traveled down Loudoun County Parkway driving at a high rate of speed. The vehicle lost control on Route 7 and struck another vehicle. The vehicle continued driving and eventually exited on Algonkian Parkway. The vehicle then traveled back westbound on Route 7. The suspect vehicle was eventually located on Russell Court and a foot pursuit ensued. The suspect was taken into custody.

VSP Div 7 unit in pursuit of a older Suburban southbound I-95 now at the 134mm, 105mph. Ch 4 159.135
Div 2 units are around the 130mm with spike strips.
0552- Exiting at exit 126. Getting so I can barely hear them.

Initial reason for stop was 92 in a 65. They slowed down to 65 for a while and it was just a failure to stop at that point. But they sped up and it became a pursuit.

1855- They got it knocked down quickly.

Loudoun in pursuit of a Cadillac westbound on Rt9 west of 287 in excess of 100mph now. West end channel.
1304- Passing Rt690. A unit headed is trying to get setup with spike strips.
Original charges are reckless driving.

Jefferson is patching together with PTAC-1.

1309- Loudoun has terminated the pursuit. The car turned onto Chesnut Hill Rd.

1321- WV units just found it and are now chasing.
1322- Got into a foot pursuit and caught one of them, still chasing two.
1326- They got all of them.

Front Royal

The City of Front Royal has been without water since mid afternoon. All fire hydrants are out of service. Water Tenders are being added to calls and some additional staffing.

Fairfax is just starting to work a two-alarm fire at a grocery store at Gallow Rd / Rt 50. Ops on 4D and 4G.
Fire through the roof. Fire fighters are being evacuated.

Loudoun Co.

The Dulles Greenway is now closed in both directions between the Route 15/7 Bypass and Shreve Mill Road. The closure is due to a fuel spill from an overturned tanker truck. The eastbound lanes of the Dulles Greenway can be accessed from Route 7 via Belmont Ridge Road. According to emergency personnel on the scene the roadway is expected to be closed until Noon today. 545 AM

Loudoun is in pursuit with of a vehicle along with Jefferson Co WV. Vehicle is involved with a signal-99 investigation in Jeff Co. Vehicle is a green Chevy Cavalier. Ops on LCSO west and they are patched with Jeff Co.

2016- On Rt 671 towards Rt340
2018- At the Tri-State Exxon. Heading into MD.
2019- LCSO supervisor says for LC units to end assistance.
2020- Guy pulled into the liquor store parking lot on Keep Tryst Rd and bailed out.
Loudoun is now telling Jefferson Co to get off Loudoun's channel (ie kill the patch).

Loudoun County, Virginia- A Sterling man is facing serious charges after he allegedly carjacked a vehicle and then led deputies on a pursuit through CountrySide.

Victor Manuel Quinteros, 21, of Sterling, was charged with Robbery (carjacking), DUI, driving on a revoked license, and disregarding a signal to stop.

Deputies were called to the 400 block of Enterprise Street shortly before 8 p.m. Saturday where a female victim told authorities her car was stolen at knifepoint. The victim left here three child-aged family members and a friend in a car in front of the CVS. An unknown Hispanic male entered the vehicle, eventually brandished a knife, and told the occupants to get out. The suspect then drove away.

Approximately 30 minutes later a Sheriff’s Deputy was on patrol on Route 7 when he observed a vehicle driving erratically in the area of Davenport Drive. The deputy initiated traffic stop and the vehicle pulled into a parking lot. The vehicle continued through the parking lot and then turned onto CountrySide Boulevard. During the pursuit it was learned the vehicle was involved in a reported car jacking.

The vehicle continued to flee deputies before losing control and ran into a median. The vehicle traveled into the opposite lanes where it eventually stopped. The driver then attempted to flee on foot but was apprehended by a Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit.

Quinteros is being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

I was woken up early this morning to this Leesburg Today - The Journal of Loudoun County - Ashburn Resident Killed In Early Morning Crash

The driver was DOA. The extrication of the passenger took at least half an hour. No doubt about speed being a factor when a car gets mangled that much.
