Back to your Leesburg hostage situation, reminds me how I got sucked into to posting a fire at the Fairfax Adult Detention Center last year. The deputies did a great acting job plus they used a TG which did not look like a training one.

0235-On Arburn...off road trying to get back on Rt 29..blown tire...occupied 3 times

0237-other 2 suspects in the car gave up, but driver is on the run..contacting state and field officer
0240-Still checking the pipes under Rt. 29.....driver is now in the woods still running, trying to get some officers over to the other side of 29

Not sure where exactly it happened, west of Loudoun it seems, but there was a big wreck somewhere it sounds like. Bunch of medevacs enroute to Fairfax. Healthnet-8, three Aircares and a MSP helo are there or enroute. At least one of the flights is for a gun shot wound to the hip. I've heard two reports for crash victims.

Healthnet8 is being directed to an alternate LZ on a soccer field off Woodburn Rd. The ground contact is E423 on 48K.

2130- Now Aircare-1 will move from the ER west pad so Healthnet8 can get in, then AC1 will come back to get its crew.

2138- Trooper-5 due in 25 minutes.

2202- Trooper-5 with Dulles tower. Says it's his first time to Fairfax hospital.

There was a Head On MVA in Berkeley County, Wv. 2 Patients were flown out by AirCare 4 and AirCare 3 I believe.

Loudoun is responding to a structure collapse on Woodgrove Rd in Round Hill. Residents reporting the walls of their home caved in. Severe thunderstorms are currently occurring. Ops on 6D.

21:47-Fire showing from Alpha and Delta Sides, 2 story house heavy fire inside

21:55-Upgraded to 2nd Alarm fire.......Fire ops are on Fauq 11C Command/Staging Ops are on Fauq 11D Tanker Ops are on Fauq 11G

22:18-Gas and Electric lines have been secured, fire crew is up in the attic, trying to open up the 2nd floor, Primary search is now completed

Obama will be in Leesburg later tonight. He should be flying into Leesburg airport and then motorcade to the high school.

No parking at or around the airport and a bunch of town cops standing by. They're in TDMA mode so no clue what they're talking about, Tac 3 is active though. I think there may be some extra fire/rescue assets in the area too (I saw a station 19 truck heading into Leesburg after I passed the airport) and it looks like 6G is being used for the event.

US Park PD has just dropped out of a pursuit of a car that Fairfax Co had been pursuing. When Park PD ran the temp tag on it they couldn't get a return. Fairfax ground units had stopped when it went into PG Co, but the helicopter kept following. Car returned into VA on I-395 and VSP is now involved.

Fairfax-1 had been trying to contact PG Co by radio so PG could catch up with it during several times the car stopped. Doesn't seem like Fairfax-1 has the new PG system programmed or something. Do they not have PMARS either? Pretty crappy interoperability.

how could they not have P-MARS in their radios, quick question are PG's Inter Op channels Phase 1 of the P25 system or Phase 2, even tho FF is Phase 1 would that cause a problem? i have no idea

US Park PD working some kind of situation at the Belle Haven Marina.

Units on scene are requesting a negotiator and help evacuating people.

It has something to do with a boat there at the marina.

House under construction in Purcellville. Queens' Cliff/Kinvara Place area. Heavy fire. Ops on 6D

I was listening to some PPD units on their analog channel on their way to a maintenance facility to stock up on some flares. Apparently they were right around the corner because they were on scene in no time.'

The construction superintendent was on scene when PPD arrived.

Units on scene advising it will be a total loss, defensive op and wind-driven fire.
An exposure is getting some heat damage.

0708- The structure has collapsed.

0718- BC601 on scene and asks if he's needed for anything. Command advises BC601 that there's nothing left but a hole in ground.

A VSP helo is enroute to Leesburg airport. There has been some talk of retrieving a woman and her baby somewhere inaccessible because of the flooding. The county would also to have them take a look and get some pictures to Goose Creek to see how/if it is going to affect Rt15.

FCPD started a pursuit of a Mercedes. They quit on 395/Edsall Rd. VSP has continued.
Driver doesn't have a valid DL. They have a tag for the car, XAU-7165 comes back to an Arlington address.

VSP last reported on King ST. Not sure where he went now.

Leesburg PD is searching for a person in the area of Ball's Bluff Park. I'm not yet sure if it's a fugitive or a lost/missing person. The VSP 1st Sgt has put in a request for a helicopter. LPD had K9s. The subject has a cellphone they are trying to DF. The last hit put it in the area of Woodbridge Ct near the park.

Not totally sure what happened since I missed hearing something key. But it sounds like maybe a Leesburg cop had a negligent discharge in their back lot. I did hear them mention someone being treated for shrapnel wounds.

The patient was transported to Cornwall and now they decided to fly them somewhere. Aircare-3 has just been alerted. 15 minute ETA- to get airborne and go a mile.

Update: certainly sounds like something happened to a cop. LPD Car 3 just came on duty and is heading to Fairfax hospital.

Leesburg PD

When I heard Loudoun dispatch the address as the Leesburg PD, I jumped on the Loudoun FD feed. When company 1 marked up, they were told it was an officer that had shrapnel wounds after an accidental discharge while cleaning his weapon. The helo had been alerted, but when the medic marked on scene, he deemed it to be a minor injury & elected to ground transport. At this point I left the feed, so I am unaware if/where the flyout occurred to.

Sounds like Loudoun is working a fatal incident. Rt28 south of Rt606. The accident reconstruction units are busy on the Motor Ops1 channel. They just mentioned picking up a piece of skull, so it's must be a nasty scene. Earlier they were requesting a blood hound but there are none available even from surrounding jurisdictions.

1015- A funeral home crew has arrived at the scene.
There are three vehicles involved -Pontiac, Mitsubishi and Toyota.
