Hearing Northport FD on new UHF 482.5875

Only hearing dispatcher talk, maybe just testing it or simulcasting with low band until up & running. No PL found, maybe testing in CSQ.

Good catch! Been waiting for them to go UHF. Its WQOX-495 CTCSS82.5. Also used by NYPD Staten Island on 167.9 Hz

They list 458/453.4125 on that license also. Anyone close by seeing anything on it?

I was told the 453.4125 freq will be used for paging. I can’t confirm if it’s in use yet
