Just updated my database on my Uniden SDS100 this morning. Have been monitoring only the P25 site in Tulsa of OKWIN and have literally gone two hours without a single peep. I know that car-to-car and things other than dispatch are encrypted, but thought dispatch and fire are still in the open. Since the SDS100 database comes from radioreference, I'm a little surprised I'm hearing nothing. Actually heard traffic on the streaming audio site that covers Tulsa and heard some dispatch traffic. Hmm.

Even changed the scanner setting to "ID Search" so I am not limited strictly to programmed talkgroups. Still nothing.

Any ideas? Are other SDS100 users seeing this?

I see this on my SDS200 and 536HP at time as well, I change from outdoor antenna to mobile one to try to get it to stop. I also check it against the App scanner to see if my radio has gone deaf. Sometimes I think it might be weather related but not 100% on that.

I'm not sure if the SDS scanners have the capability to use NAC on P25 trunked systems but if so and if you guys have NAC set then it could be because the NAC changed.
See OKWIN NAC changes?

This happens quite often and with radio's in different locations not just at home. I have experienced this multiple times over the last few months. I'm not sure what the system feed operator is using to supply the online audio feed but it doesn't seem to be affected as it always has traffic on it.
