HI everyone,
I recently purchased a radio shack pro 651 along with the programming cable and I downloaded the trial version of the radio shack scanner software. I used the radio reference feature in the software to find the frequencies I wanted which consisted of Lowell PD and FD for now, just to see if it would work. Lowell PD uses digital radios and the FD uses analog. I was able to do an upload. However, when I am scanning, all I am getting is static, not able to hear any voice on the PD. The FD comes over, but doesn't sound the way it should, not very clear, hard to hear. The squelch is set correctly and this is a brand new scanner that was uploaded for the first time. I am not sure what to do.
