SDS100/SDS200: Nothing Coming In after firmware update

As the title says, I ran sentenial and updated the firmware, all my favorites were playing before. Now I have silence after my firmware update. Well I should say I can hear the local hospital but none of my others.

Updates have been known to change things like color codes on DMR systems. Also, I believe that OKC PD dispatch frequencies just recently encrypted. Which systems are not working? You may need to program the scanner again.

OKC Police, but before I ran the update, I was listening. I may have been on OKWIN and not noticed.

Also check to make sure erase favorites wasn't checked. I erased all mine by mistake before when I first was learning how to use it

Personally I've never experienced this after an SDS100 fw update. @altuser, are all service types turned on for the frequencies and/or talkgroups you feel you aren't hearing? (reference "tag" column in the database) Are you no longer seeing the system(s)/site(s)/depts/channels if you do a system & channel hold and scroll through objects with applicable quick keys turned on if set? If not then you may have lost your programming. If you have a working Sentinel profile it may be worth reuploading programming back to the scanner if you feel everything worked as it should beforehand

+1 on checking the Service Types. I have had conundrums in the past when updating scanners when the Profile on the computer over writes the one on the radio, thus changing the Scan Selection, Favorites Lists and Lockout status.
