Brand new scanner today. Followed all the instructions using ACR500 software. Still get this message. Any ideals. yes, I'm using the BLUE download. I think I put this in the wromg section. Admin, can move it.

I got it now. Tech support said- use Win500 instead. Working now.

Can you attach a copy of your ARC500 file? I will check it for problems.
I got it done. It took a long time. I got enough programed to get by for now.
For some reason, even after following the instructional video, the Arc problem just didn't work. Called Whistler customer service. He said- try Win500.

Regardless of how you program the radio, or which software you use; if nothing is enabled (such as all lists off) you will get that message. You could have lists on, but they are empty. Or all the channels in the list are locked out. When you get this message, press MAN then use navigation keys (up, down, numbers) to see what's there and/or if it is locked out, etc.
