Notifications not working

Mine are coming in just fine, akthough i have to click the setting for instant e-mail notification

Two things need to happen for you to get notifications of threads.
  1. You must first edit your UserCP setting from the default of "no email" to something else.
  2. You must establish a "link" to the thread, either by posting in the thread or specifically "subscribing" to that thread
Please note that all "links" to established threads were wiped out with the change to the new forum software. Happy Hunting! :roll:

I have checked my control panel settings and they are fine. Notifications worked for three months but stopped about a week or so ago. I administer our corporate network and have also confirmed that the emails never get to my smtp gateway. So it appears that this system is not sending my notifications.

Can anyone help?

Nope... No notifications have been received. I am going to set my email address to my personal email and not my business address to help narrow things down.

Do you show that you are subscribed to threads? You can check that out in the UserCP area also.

Yes, I am subscribed to the threads. I am really about to give up on the notifications.

I first changed my email from my work email to my home email and I started getting notifications on my work email today... After changing it three days ago... that doesn't make too much sense.

I then changed it back to my work email and I am no longer getting notifications.

I am pretty sure that rules out my work email as the issue because I did get notifications on that email address today. Even though my email address was set to my home address.
