I am a Nova Scotian, who presently living in Alberta, been away for the last year, plan for a repatriation the first of Oct. 2010 for a visit. Kind of loss touch if the province has gone from the 800 mhz to 700 mhz and has the TIDs also changed for EMS.Fire,Police,etc. If anyone has a list of these changes it would be appreciated. I will be traveling through out the province so I would like a province wide list,I would be appreciated. Thanks !!!

Do you ship those GRECOM Scanners to NB? I'm from Saint John and might be in the market for a new scanner sometime after Christmas. I only had UNIDEN for the past 20 years but my last two portables have had issues where the plug plugs into the scanner. I have been just using a seperate charger to charge my batteries. I'm thinking it may be time for a change but with a newborn on the way, there's no way I'm going to be able to justify the expense until after Christmas.

I wouldn't suggest charging batteries in the scanner itself. If they explode or leak... ruined scanner and ruined batteries.

Probably for the best... lol
