Any idea whether Yellowknife fire are using analog? RCMP using same or P25?

I know the Yellowknife RCMP were using XTS5000 portables when I passed through the airport 2 summers ago. I did not have any way to figure out if they were using P25/P25w encryption/analogue. I think fire is using DMR. I though I saw something about the city moving to a trunked DMR system a couple years ago.

After doing some Google-foo, it appears that RCMP are digital in Yellowknife. Likely P25, and quite probably encrypted as well.

Agree that RCMP is P25 ENC.
