I just tuned around a little today learning this R8600 still
came across a few in Fed bands.

170.600 NAC 192 (one trans. was in the clear)
173.7625 NAC 4F9
407.775 NAC 482
170.550 was active I think it was N167 ?? but not sure

Seems from observation vy busy in those bands in the morning and after
5pm...not so much ...lol...73,s Marcy

Just an FYI, some of those can be found in the Database search feature.

Agree on #2. Seen it listed as Ellis in several places also, but I myself have never heard 1 transmission in the clear so I also cannot verify. Must be strapped encryption.

anyone [suggestion] near-by might be able to map/log the RID's for a week, then compare to any of the other NPS/UPS channels...
might even be showing on two freqs at the same time [siulcasted sites]

my antenna is pretty basic...I actually tuned to 406.200
right now and it was active for a moment I did not think
on the weekend there would be much?
(actually active to be specific S7 just now at 1535)

The Federal Protective Service doesn't close on weekends or holidays - they are still actively patrolling the Federal Bldgs
Wait till 3p-5p ish when a roll call gets done
