Would anyone know what the trigger freq is on an ez-pass? Wanting to check to see if this thing is still transmitting..

In most cases, the toll transponders work in the 900MHz ISM band (902-928MHz). On the toll roads here in SoCal, they are licensed to the vendor typically, others to a turnpike or transportation authority.

Check to see if the device has an FCC id, and run that. Might give you some info as to where to look in the 900MHz band.

I'm not a transponder expert, but I've seen many FCC renewals over the years for a license on 915 MHz. I've done some research on railroad tags and I think that's the freq I've seen them use, so that might be on to something
