Just read that there will be no official fireworks show this year. So not much to listen to event wise. Any speculation about where the "grand finale" will be shot from?

Is the "grand finale" something separate from the official fireworks show? I'd think if the official show is cancelled, the grand finale would also be cancelled.

It's a little complicated this year. Starting on the 29th there will be a 5 minute show every night. Different borough every night with no time or location announced. Just a high elevation is mentioned. Then on the 4th there will be a grand finale. Mayor did say the Empire State building will be involved. This is all due to keep crowds away.

Maybe protests will still be ongoing. That way the huge crowds can legally watch the show. Win win.
