I'm picking up a NAC of 7A8 on PBSI1 484.0875 (encrypted) rather than NAC 495 which is already in the database. Not sure if I am hearing somewhere else that is not in the database or if the NAC did indeed change.

Also it seems that both the 120/121 and the 122/123 are still operating on their analog frequencies.
Harvard University Campus Police (secure) operates on 484.0875 with 495 NAC. That's a hell of a coincidence. My hunch is that whoever was picking up 495 NAC on 484.0875 assumed it was PBSI 1, when they were actually picking up Harvard. Looks like that member is in CT so that makes sense. Please submit the correct NAC, thanks.

They must have a hell of a setup. I live 30 miles from Cambridge and can't pick up Harvard. Or, skip?

More new updates for me. I am surprised no one else has posted any new freqs heard but continue the comedy on the other closed thread. Maybe no one else on the other thread can hear them, which I would be shocked, seeing I am 70 miles away from the city.
Anyway, the newest of my catches, all E of course so no idea which zone they are going to be. I imagine they are still working on Manhattan.

Yes, my mistake. Encrypted, so I just assumed it was NYPD without being able to hear the transmission in the clear. Yes, I am on the Ct. shore but hear the Boston area on occasion, especially with band enhancements.

Maybe a dumb question, and hopefully this is the right thread (apologies I think this is my first post here though I’ve read sporadically throughout the years), anyway back to my question: I’m in Staten Island and as we know, both frequencies for the 5 SI precincts are encrypted now, I can only hear the data/link sounds on my scanners, but there is still a Broadcastify stream up for one of the frequencies (120/121 Precincts). How could that be, is the host of that stream using a department issued radio, or am I completely missing some other aspect?

Are you actually hearing audio from the 120/121? All i hear on that feed is coney island the 60/61... I think it was just never relabeled.

See my revised note...its brooklyn audio
Yup that explains it! Listening now and just heard them say 6-0 for the first time. All I got when I was listening last night was them just saying 0 or 1 and it lead me to believe I was still hearing 120 and 121. Some of the street names matched up too.

I just put a trouble ticket on this over on Broadcastify so hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Might have missed this but is the traffic frequency still open for highway patrol? I see it's not e/E on the frequency page, just want to make sure as I want to get another scanner to listen to that frequency specifically. Thanks.

Just to add some updates from listening every day (And at this very moment)

MTX 17 is rebroadcasting digital over analog. There are no longer any MDC tones and you can hear the digital in the TX.
I just recently saw techs working their way up the IRT line from the city into the Bronx working on presumably radio equipment because as i was waiting for the train, they were performing random radio checks.

Where i live in Alphabet city, The 1/5/7 is still clear with MDC.
6/9 Still Analog with MDC
10/13 Analog with MDC

The 25/28/32 sounds like they are operating in Mixed mode.

I am unsure if any of this info helps, But if there are any questions, please feel free to ask away.
