It costs a lot of money for a station to blow out three hours of programing to do what they did and in this tough economic time doing such a thing is a hard decision. While the other Sacramento stations were thinking about the bottom line News 10 was thinking about the community. I am very glad they did what they did. Thank You News 10.

We keep learning more about the one-man crime-spree that these officers were protecting us from. In addition to the previously announced tie to a rape of a 12-year old child and a home-invasion robbery in Modesto, it now turns out that he raped and robbed two young women the morning before the officers were killed.

Yikes - two rapes, two robberies and four murders in one day. And that's just what we know about so far. He is also being investigated as the suspect in five more rapes.

Sgt. Dom Arotzarena, president of the Oakland Police Officers Association, commented that
"It doesn't change what happened...All it says is, to his supporters - this is who you're supporting. Congratulations for supporting a monster.

Lovelle Mixon killed at least two of those Oakland cops with a banned SKS carbine! The attorney general confiscated most of them from law abiding citizens in 2000. These were brought in by the Chinese and sold originally by federally licensed gun stores. Nobody is even talking about tracing this weapon through it's series of past owners.

It is a felony, to sell firearms to a convicted felon. The individual, who provided the Tech 9 used in the Columbine High School massacre got seven years in the joint for his own stupidity. We don't do this in Kalifornia. It's much easier to pass another stupid law and harass law abiding citizens instead. It's time to demand some answers from that lame DA in Alameda county.

I turn on the news and feel like puking all over the TV. Most of those broadcasters hire college educated idiots who don't know their butts from a hole in the ground...

The "justice" system keeps slapping the wrists of career criminals who use guns in the commission of crimes and putting them back on the streets. Then when one of these lowlifes does something bad enough, all of the gun grabbers use it as an excuse to take guns from law abiding citizens. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I don't remember the AG confiscated these weapons...there was a registration period where you had to submit a thumb print to the CA DOJ along with other information and if you were clear you received a letter back grandfathering you in as an owner.
